hi.  i’m nathan.  i love my wife.  i love jesus.  i create.

this is my blog.  sometimes i don’t write anything for a while.   it usually means i am doing something else.  i didn’t forget you though.  i like you.

in may 2007, i married the most wonderful wife ever.  i don’t care if you beg to differ, you’re still wrong. 

i lived in ireland the summer of 2003, and we are trying to move there sometime.  in the future.  near or far, doesn’t matter.  as long as we end up in Dublin.

i studied architecture for 6 years.  most people don’t count it as 6 years, because it resulted in a 2 year degree.  but hell, it took me 6 years, so i’m going to claim every last one of them.  i now do nothing related to that field of study.  not that i don’t want to.  that’s just the way the cookie crumbles.  where did that phrase come from?  how did fate end up being compared to a broken biscuit?

i try not to let any single thing define who i am.  i try to be complex, but usually end up being pretty simple.  if it’s the norm, i go the other way.  that’s it.  there you have it.  i have just defined myself by a single thing. i’m gonna have to work on that.

i have an obsession with blog design.  that is why this probably doesn’t look the same as it did during your last visit.  chances are, the design may have changed again while you were reading about me, and the click you make will lead you into a totally new look. 

things i create: graphics, music, food, wooden stuff, concepts, websites, moods, environments, coffee, food, coffee, graphics, coffee. oh, and espresso.  a mean espresso.
