so i know a lot of people that do things like “word-of-the-day” and stuff, but i’m going to start having a motivational mantra of the week. maybe it will be longer than a week, but that’s what i’ll call it. something that speaks to me, that encourages me to be better, to live better, to love better. they’ll be short, sweet, and to the point, kind of proverbs of sort, and maybe some of them will be proverbs. you’ll be able to find them in the “asides” section of the blog.
i often find myself in need of a little something that picks me up and keeps me going. perhaps somewhere in here, you’ll find something that does the same for you. occasionally i will expound on why i chose that one, but most of the time, i’ll just put it out there and let it hit you however it may. and feedback from you, my dear reader, would be cherished.
so i give you my first one, from Dr. Seuss: “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive that is you-er than you.”
