sad rainbows

today i finally wore through my rainbow flip flops that have been so faithful over the last nearly 6 years.  today i put about 6 miles on them so far, and still have about 2 more to go.  my feet are blistered from walking so far in them.  but yet it pains me more to know that i have to retire them.  and the thought of breaking in new rainbows is a sad one.  i don’t like breaking in new rainbows.  it hurts.

so, farewell, faithful flip flops.  i have loved you dearly.  you have served me well.
